WritelyDone provides an integrated contract system for service providers and their clients. This system was developed to minimize the overhead associated with using contracts, especially for small jobs. This system is completely optional and is not required to do business on WritelyDone.
What is a contract?
A contract is an agreement between two individuals. In the context of creating content on WritelyDone, a contract defines the terms for which services will be provided to an author by a freelance service provider. Contracts are legally binding documents and should be reviewed by an attorney familiar with contract law in your locale.
A contract usually includes, but is not limited to the following:
- The names of the responsible parties
- The scope of work that will be performed
- The time period
- Payment terms
- Client’s responsibilities
- Termination policy
- Places for both parties to sign
