WRITELYDONE(TM) AUTOMATES EPUB FILE GENERATION

Minneapolis, Minnesota Jan 03, 2012 - As part of a commitment to expand and improve the services and tools found on WritelyDone(tm), the site () has added an ePUB generator to assist in creating valid ePUB files. The ePUB format was developed in 2007 by the International Digital Publishing Forum (http://idpf.org) and is a widely used standard format for publication and distribution of electronic books.

The tool is integrated into the standard WritelyDone(tm) content publishing flow. It is implimented as a simple system where a document outline is created and text is either entered directly, or pasted in from another program. Unlike competing offerings from FeedBooks(tm), or Smashwords(tm) it supports embedded images and links to other parts of the document, and its use is not restricted by additional licensing.

Writely Done, LLC was founded in 2010 as an independent venture to create an efficient marketplace for the creation and distribution of written material in digital format (e-books, as well as short format content). With this service, writers and publication service providers (editors, illustrators, proof-readers, etc.) can post their contact information, collaborate on projects, and publish their work on . Users can purchase and download the resulting products, follow their favorite authors through local or remote blog feeds, review and rate content, and use social media hooks with connections to Twitter, Facebook, and Google+.

WRITELYDONE ANNOUNCES ISBN SERVICE WITH PROMOTIONAL PRICING

Minneapolis, Minnesota Aug 01, 2011 - WritelyDone, LLC acquired a large block of ISBN (International Standard Book Number) identifiers and is ready to assign ISBN's to members' titles. This service will be available at a nominal charge for titles published using the WritelyDone™ service.

ISBN assignment is an industry-wide requirement for book distribution and allows titles published on WritelyDone to be distributed world-wide. E-books typically require multiple ISBN's per title because each file format (ePUB, mobi-pocket, PDF, etc.) requires its own identifier. To celebrate this announcement and generate interest in the service, WritelyDone™ will issue the first 100 ISBN's at no cost, with promotional pricing continuing throughout the year.
